Fashion: Kimono Inspiration Peony Komon with Wide Cho Belt

I instantly fell in love with her komon! That pink peony was fabulous! I'm not into her hair-do and hair accessories, but her kimono and belt indeed made me drooling ^_^. I did believe she didn't wear any juban. It might be summer there.

This is Hiiro, a striking 21-year-old student dressed in something that we just don’t see often enough in Harajuku – a kimono! This isn’t your average kimono, either, as it’s being worn with a wide leather belt and large butterfly buckle. Her amazing headdress is made from an empty cocktail can, silk flowers and strands of pearls. Her shoes are Liz Lisa black suede high heels wrapped in faux fur.

Fashion: Kimono Inspiration Gingham Komon with Laced Collar

Wah, I just found this stunning combination of komon with decorated obi. It seemed that the juban and the obi came from the same fabric. So inspiring! Moreover, she decorated the collar with lace ^_^. Luv it so much.

Fashion: Kimono Inspiration with Cute Beret

What so hyped about Japan?
Anime, dorama, manga, technology, gourmet, culture, ninja, samurai and of course fashion.
I'll add others later, teehee~
Right now, I'm getting fascinated with kimono - vintage or contemporary.
For this month, I'd like to share about Harajuku's streetwear that's inspiring (Gosh, I'd like to try some of the styles), mostly about kimono and lolita.

Here’s Mayu, a fun Japanese girl who works at the hip Harajuku kimono shop Tokyo135°.
The pretty kimono that Mayu is wearing, along with her obi, geta sandals, and all of her accessories are from – not surprisingly – Tokyo135°.
