Kimono Collection: Pink Flower Yukata with Real Glitter
New yukata from Shinei woohoo(⌒▽⌒). I've been eyeing this yukata for a while. The yukatas from Shinei are beautiful and gorgeous. It was a doki-doki time when I tried to eliminate several yukatas into one ( ̄ー ̄). It couldn't help I wanted to buy all of those yukatas. If I'm not going to wear all of them, I might think about selling them. But that just another plan maybe. I crazed into buying new kimono stuff now.
This yukata has a real glitter, I wonder if it's safe enough to wash this yukata. I'm afraid the glitter will dissolve into water. I should find a proper obi for this yukata, maybe black will match well.
To date, I haven't worn this yukata yet and will post the kitsuke once I wear this lovely yukata. This cotton yukata is still stiff when I did test-wear. I guess after several wearing, this yukata will drape nicely.

Kimono Collection: Black Fukuro Obi Woven Camellia
I instantly fall in love with this obi. The colour is so vivid ☆彡. It's rare to see black obi with woven flower like this. This obi waved at me and cry, "Make me mine! Make mine!" repeatedly. The woven thread are loose in several places but it's fine since the tear is covered when the obi is worn.
I finally decided to wear this obi at my friend's wedding with my new self-made komon and my brand new obijime. I will post the kitsuke later (^o^)/.

Kimono Collection: Black Chrysanthemum and Navy Blue Sharingan Hanhaba Obi
I bought two obi from my favourite shop (≧∇≦). They are hanhaba. Both of them are synthetic and woven. These obi are very versatile since black can go with any color and the navy blue has the mirror side, which is white. These obi came in handy when Dinda, one of my friend decided to visit Yogyakarta for about a week. She was having a long vacation after bitter separation from her ex. Now that I mentioned it, let's not talk about that. During that time, there was also a matsuri named Jogja Japan Week so we dashed to the matsuri without hesitation. I dressed up her with my brand new dark blue yukata. Dinda loved the blue side more, so I put the navy blue hanhaba but as for the musubi, I showed the white side one ^_^. More picture of the events will be uploaded soon in the next post.

Kimono Collection: Bright Yellow Tsukesage
I started to look for information about kimono lately. Kimono can show someone's marital status, the formality and season. Yes. The most formal kimono for unmarried woman is furisode, whereas for married woman is tomesode. After that, the formality range fall to houmongi, tsukesage and iromuji. These kimono can be worn for wedding reception, new year visit, fancy party or tea ceremony. I bought yellow bright tsukesage. I think I was daring back then. It's like a sunflower. So bright and sharp. The material was synthetic. This kimono is lined which means it will be unfavourable if I would like to wear it in a non-aircon room. I've tried to wear it several time, just for kitsuke practice, but haven't found a prper ensemble. I lack of komono, I guess. I actually want to wear this tsukesage for one of my friends wedding, but since I haven't prepared yet, that idea was canceled. Anyway. I still hope to wear this lovely kimono very soon.
And again, I left message to the shop's page:
Pardon my disturbing and abruptness words but fyeah, I think I'm going to wear this tsukesage for attending one of my friend's wedding hihihi... of course after I complete the komono set for the kitsuke: nagajuban, haneri, obiage, obijime, obimakura, tabi and zori ^_^;.By the way, the color is more vibrant in real than what it looked like in the picture. What colour of obi should I pair it up with? Hmm...
Even though I haven't received the kimono, I have a high expectation toward this tsukesage. Remind me of summer and himawari. Thank you, Sis.

Kimono Collection: First Fukuro Obi
This is my first fukuro obi. I bought it from the same store I bought my peach furisode. This fukuro obi is delicate and vivid. the gold thread is very prominent. I haven't worn it to some events. And this obi teach me how to tia an otaiko musubi the first time. Yeah. It was so messy and weird. I remember clearly as if the moment was just a milisecond ago. I sweated my whole body trying to tie otaiko in the back. The tutorial I got was doing it from the back. I got references later that otaiko musubi can be done in front or half-done.
Too bad I didn't take the picture more. I wish to wear this obi soon. Maybe with the furisode? All I need is find a proper juban for furisode and dateeri. As for the knot, oh well... I can't do some fancy musubi, so I will go with otaiko. Maybe...just maybe someone can understand the instruction on how to tie tateya musubi and do that to me, I will be glad.
I post a comment in the shop's page. Teehee~
This is my second purchase from your shop! Again, I haven't ever touched the real obi. I download several obi tying and knotting from youtube to know how to fold into otaiko musubi hihihi... I managed to do messy otaiko musubi with this obi. Just too afraid to let it folded for too long. I wonder about obi's treatment after usage .
The colour of this fukuro obi is gorgeous. I love the gold thread used for the background. I wonder if this obi is suitable for my tsukesage q(^_^)p.

Kimono Collection: Peach Flower Furisode
This is my third kimono I got after I bought my first red yukata and navy blue yukata. What got into my mind was utterly fuzzy and explosive. I suddenly wanted a furisode, together with the obi. Oh well... so I search some references about how to wear furisode and the appropriate obi and the musubi. Found out that I need a fukuro obi. And you know what? The accessories needed to dress up in furisode are enormous! The komono start from juban, hada juban, kimono bra, erishin, dateeri, datejime, obijime, obimakura, obiita, obiage, tabi, zori, and several koshihimo. WOW! Kimono is a serious hobby!
What triggered me to buy this furisode was my friend's wedding reception. I want to wear kimono badly to her wedding. Moreover, she is one of my bestfriend! I wasn't ready to wear that furisode to date. I already bought a fukuro obi, matching enough for the ensemble. But I barely knew proper kitsuke. I guess I need to learn to do the proper kitsuke first LOL. Anyway. I love this furisode. Yeah, I love peach and pink coloured things. Even Frankenstein said that my fart might coloured pink? WTH!!
The furisode is made from chirimen kinsha fabric. I didn't know about that fabric well actually. But it's not as smooth as silk. More like crepe. I really have to make the furisode into a good use. MUST!
I left this comment to the shop's page:
Hello, Sis, this is me, one of your customer .The other pictures of my furisode:
I love and adore kimono since junior high school but all I can do was observing their beauty and wondering how such fabrics and coordinates can make stunning appearance; and yes, I love Japan. About a years ago, I'm in a verge of wanting the real kimono (in this case vintage made in Japan ^_^) but couldn't find any local store distributing those kind of kimono. I also fond of kitsuke. It's so elegant and delicate. And...yes, I finally found your shop. I got the information from Kaskus actually, and then I was redirected to your multiply shop. Oh God, thank you! This is what I really want. So yeah, I just mustered my courage to contact you. I have zero knowledge about kimono fabric at that time so I just left all to you. Thank you, I love kimono more. I wish to wear them more often in certain occasions . I just wonder how if I wear my yukata to some fancy restaurant or my furisode to my friend's wedding. Ahaha...I need to learn how to tie fukura suzume because otaiko musubi or cho musubi looks plain with the furisode . Oh...I had an idea, how if you put some notes about tying different obi style. It will be great.
I know my comment is considered TL;DR :D:D.
So to put it simply, I should say thank you for the great services. I don't have any complaint toward your goods and service. They are good. I haven't found any match obi for my furisode *sob-sob-sob. Maybe I will look forward for black coloured obi teehee~ The furisode is super gorgeous :D:D. I'm glad the sode isn't too long for my height. I'm only 157 cm LOL.
Keep up with the good work, Sis .

Kitsuke: Polka Dot Kimono with Big Flower Obi
I really wanted to wear kimono recently. The only problem I had: I didn't have any event to attend and transportation mode suitable enough for me wearing kimono T_T. It's okay riding motorcycle when wearing kimono, but I got so much hassle trying to hop on my motorcycle :)). Unless I ride matic motorcycle, I barely go anywhere wearing kimono. I'm already getting used to get peculiar or strange look from stranger upon me when I wear kimono, so yeah, that's not a big trouble for me :D.
So here I was! Attending October AMH's gathering, I decided to wear kimono. Together with Kikuri-chan and Adi, we marched to L'Cost Yogyakarta...errr....after I bought some credit for my phone >_<. The Bandeng Tanpa Duri Rica-rica was nice. I love fish, so that's why I found it great to have fish for my dinner set.
I didn't wear juban, instead I'm crazed for haneri. I didn't get too much sweat when I wore my kimono with haneri :). As your information, in Indonesia, there's only two season: dry season and rainy season. We have lot of sunlight everyday, that's why everyday is like the best day for wearing kimono :). Again! I was getting crazy get my collar done nicely. And the taiko is tad low. but I love how the obiage bow turned out >_<. I wore round type obijime - this kind of obijime should be worn together with furisode - but I love the color combo, so...why not wearing that obijime with my komon. As for the footwear? I was wearing my calf-high boots. Ehehe...I still haven't had a pair of nice zori. I really need to save some money just to buy ones.
I really need to research several poses nicely enough for kimono shooting. That pose is really generic :). And a better background for the shot. Oh! And also lighting. I need to take the pictures during broad daylight.

Kitsuke: Stripped Komon and Sensu Fukuro Obi
I love this komon. The combination of the stripes are nice. The problem I had was the fabric was easily shifting, even though it was cotton.
I didn't wear tabi and zori! The reason was obvious. I still don't have them T_T. The sleeves are too long. Look at my taiko. I think I need to get it upper at my back :). I still have trouble doing my collar nicely done.
I wore this kimono when I was attending one of AMH (Anime Manga Haven) Gathering during the fasting month. The designated place for the gathering was at Break Resto and Coffee. It's a nice place for hanging out.

Dress Up Your Yukata!
Yukata, the most informal kimono that can be pimped up from chic, elegant, cute to super flashy ensembles :D. It's fun to put various items and accessories around the obi and hair. Kitsuke rule can be bent down when we wear yukata. Here are several examples of yukata ensembles that make your yukata looks so much different with just your regular ensemble ;).

Fashion: Red Chekered Komon with Polkadot Obi
Once again, I fell in love with checkered, plaid and tartan motif ^_^v.Look at her fabulous coordination between checkered komon, polkadot obi and Hello Kitty obidome. Her polkadot hair bow also made her total looks was awesome. Since she wore hand muffler, I suggest it was on winter, or...she worked on her night shift. And the socks? Just remind me of card decks albeit it was supposed to be tabi that should be worn ^_^.
