Review Mangafest 2013 Part 2

Mangafest Day 2 - More crowded than Day 1

The second day of Mangafest was more crowded than the first one. The night before, I wrapped the booth with some fabric and raffia. I had a feeling that during the second day, it would be raining so I took a preemptive measurement by asking the event manager to get me some plastic wrapper in case the raining started pouring.

What I wore in second day of Mangafest 2013 was my self made cotton kimono and my other home made hiraki cotton nagoya obi. I also gave a shot to adding some lace, kantan eri, fancy obiage and crazy headdress. Later, I found that my headdress wasn't really suitable on my head with that kind of hair style.

Some items for sale including yukata, obi, furoshiki, chopsticks, bento tools and geta (not in picture)
Speaking about the day - which is really hot - I really was bounded to my booth I barely could take a peek to others booths. This was a little bit sad you know, because every time I participated in a bunkasai or matsuri, I ended up not being able to walking around the venue to actually enjoy the event. It was not that I didn't love to have a lot of customers, but I really needed to have another approach on how to managing my booth and enjoying the event at the same time :D.

Hanichan and Aichan, two sweet girls who is really enthusiastic about yukata and kitsuke. Even helping me managing my booth some time.

By the end of the day, it was raining heavily but I managed to secure most of my stuffs right after I decided to pack them after seeing the thick grey cloud floating in the sky. I still miss managing the booth with Mbak Sabi anyway.
